Keep the rectal area clean and dry and avoid using toilet paper. Instead, use moist towel wipes like those you would use on a baby. Another idea is to use your aloe vera plant to get some relief. All you need to do is break off a stem and scoop out the gel on the inside. Put the gel on a cotton ball and apply to the sore areas. The same can be done with Witch Hazel.
